Tales of Sorrow
Title: Tales of Sorrow
Author: Silence the Poet
Love Lost, Life Lost
I don't know what life
is about, nor do I, or
will I pretend that I do.
But what I do know is
that a life without the
one you love most is no
life at all, but a
waking death without
ever living. Here, at
my feet, lies my
heart, shattered as a
vase of the ancients.
And there is
NOTHING that can
put it back together.
People talk of the darkest hour in their lives. I cannot claim to have had a darkest hour, for in order to have a darkest hour, one must have a time of light, to which I owe no memory. But I will not deny this is a dark time in my life. As my sadness grows, so does my solitude. I wonder if I'll ever be able to love again as the love I have had once before.
But nae, leave me my audience, to ponder you! For my audience here be the ghosts of teh past which live eternally. And to thee I do not wish to give audience, for surely anything reminicent of my past is too far gone to be a spirit, but surely is none but a deamon.
The Dawn of Silence, The End of Time
The little girl slowly
pulled herself to her
knees. Rage coursed
through her body. She
was normally calm
and pacifist, but now
she was not Hotaru as
everyone knew her.
Inside her, the rage
grew until it took on
an, at first surreal,
then real form. She
looked up from her
spot on the ground at
the kid that had
knocked her down.
Around her, a glowing aura pulsed off her body. "Here me now," the girl said in a voice that was not her own, "I have lived for countless ages. I am as old as time itself. You dare to defy me, and all I stand for! I will not have it!" The boy backed away, somewhat frightened. "Here this! I am the Messiah of Silence, destroyer of worlds, and sailor of death! No puny human will stand in my way!!! Enough of this... BE GONE!" With that, a great energy rose from her. Her body lifted her to her feet, although she never touched the ground on her way up. her body floated gracefully into the air. She slowly raised her hand and pointed at the boy who was now cowering in the corner. A great pulse of energy came forth and hit the boy with a force of power incomprehensible. The boy, laying there, shuddering, babbling.
The girl fell to the ground and fainted. She did not remember what had happened. She only remembered that for a moment, evil had her in it's grip...
