Cycles of the Lycanthrope
Title: Cycles of the Lycanthrope
Author: Quinn Hunter
There are three cycles
of the Lycanthrope
the first being the
birth and early
childhood. When a
Lycanthrope is born
they are born into
their animal form, for this is their true
form. They will
remain in this form
for the majority of
their early childhood.
they learn the ways
of the forest and the
human world around
them.
The second cycle is
the adolecent years.
The Lycanthrope is
able to assume it's
hybrid form which
resembles a human
but with the qualities
on thie animal form.
Example, a werecat in
hybrid form will
have the facial
features of a cat, the
claws, the tail and a
light fur, but will
appear as a human
otherwise. During
this time one learns to
avoid humans for the
most part due to their
lack of understanding.
Many Hybrids have
died at the hands of
human hunting
parties, because they
were misstaken for
monsters. It is during
this time that the
Lycanthrope recives
the majority of it's
trainning by an elder
Lycanthrope. They
are taught to fight and
hunt plus they are
encouraged to further
study in any skills
they show a talent
for.
The third and final
cycle is the human
form. This is when
the Lycanthrope has
full control of their
shape shifting
powers, and has
gained enough
knowledge to survive
in the world without
their teacher. They
are then considered an
adult and can chose to
follow whatever path
they see fit. Allthow,
none shall follow a
path of darkness. If a
lycanthrope is found
to be evil in spirit,
action, or deed, they
shall be hunted by
their own kin until
their death.
