Many are convinced that the orcs are the source of the poisoned crops... The orc mine is raided after a party of orcs are followed back to the mine from a farm in Yew.

When this evidence if brought before the VRG, Tomas is placed under house arrest. Imperus Noxum appears and claims that Tomas and 'his friend' (presumed to be Pauper) are trying to frame him and 'soil his good name'. The VRG demand proof, but the mage (now a poison elemental) sics his lackies on the guards before vanishing.
Toxic Trust -
Imperus Noxum manages to assemble the guard to demand they kill the ones responsible for framing him. The VRG says no, and is beset by Noxum's lackies. Eventually, a moongate appears which leads the guards to the bodies of the men Noxum wanted dead - he had killed them. A note written by Tomas is found...

A scribe is located at the Lycaeum and asked to compare the handwriting of the new note with a known sample of Tomas's. The scribe says a week will be required for an accurate comparison. While the VRG waits for the scribe, the news spreads that Tomas is scheduled to face trial within days...
