Title: Elemental Binding
Author: Jeram the Wise
To bind an elemental, the
words “In Jux” are
used followed by “An
Por.” The first part
invokes a trap that will
hold the elemental. The
second part restricts the
elemental’s movement.
Next, a modifier must be applied that uses either sleep (Zu) or death (Corp). Finally, the type of elemental being bound must be mentioned:
Fire – Flam
Water – Quas
Air – Hur
Earth – Ylem
Poison – Nox
Blood – Mani
Malevolence – Corp
Benevolence – Lor
Acid – Jux
For greater elementals,
the spell must be
empowered with the word
“Vas” at the start.
With greater elementals,
an object infused with an
opposite magic must be
used. The runes are very
particular for this binding.
To bind a great earth
elemental for example, the
words “Vas In Jux An
Por Corp Ylem” must be
used with a pillar carved
with the runes for light
and air and healing.
