Title: Burned Notes

Author: Bertrand

What is known about the Principia Daemonis, as I make note of it.

The language is an archaic demonic language. Most demons who speak or write use the language of human, gargoyle, or elf since complexity and vocabulary are much more precise.

This language uses words of three letters that are modified by other words to indicate the roll of the word. These modifying particles can make a word into a noun, verb, or adjective, though usually a word as a singular use. For example, “fam” is the word for fire, but can also be the adjective hot. The list of modifying words:

Modifiers of Action (Verbs)
Kah – Past Tense
Zih – Present Tense
Reh – Future Tense or

Imperative Modifiers of Name (Nouns)
Boe – Subject Noun
Odb – Object Noun (also
object of a preposition)
Esx – Plural Noun

Modifiers of Description (Adjective or Adverb)
Enn – Adjective or Adverb

Modifiers of Precision (Other parts of speech)
Ent – Conjunction, And
Non – Negative, Not

The first sentence of the books is remembered by those of arcane lore:

“This is a history. A wisp told the secret. The wisps are not of Sosaria.”

The rest of the book has four parts:
I. History of the World and Demonkind
II. Prophecy of Future War
III. Naming of Names
IV. Rituals of Power

I have started a complete dictionary of words as I can remember them...
