Title: Jedidiah's Book
Author: Jedidiah Ernst
Well there ain't much good going on in Skara of late, and the streets don't seem so friendly no more. I remember a time when I'd walk through this town and point out how proud I was of it.
Now I don't feel safe to walk alone at night without a lantern in hand and a weapon at my side. I worry what kind of town I'm raising my daughter in, and we may not be long for Skara to be called our home. There's a few nice places we could go, but I've always wanted to go back to Minoc where I was born and raised. Now if only I can raise the money.
Even though sales are increasing and prices getting higher for our sales, it don't help much when everything else costs more on top of it. Amelia's been itching for me to send her off to the Lycaeum but I know we can't afford it at the moment, especially with how things are going around here. At least we aint been robbed. Yet.
