Title: Notebook
Author: Rumpo the Alchemist
April the Twentieth
I have continued to play
with the findings of the
clever but naive Michael
of Moonglow. His notes
are correct that growing
a crystal with a small
amount of blackrock will
result in the blackrock
impurities being held in
place by the crystal.
Michael used sugar since
he wanted to observe
growth properties. I want
to find a way to use
this knowledge in a more
practical way. I have
decided to use a mixture
similar to that used in
the production of golem
power crystals, and while
I assume that it may be
possible to use blackrock
in a similar fashion, I'd
rather push my research
in a different direction.
Pauper has asked me to
find a way to distribute
blackrock in an efficient
manner, and this maybe
it.
May the First
It exploded! Wonderful
wonderful. With blackrock
in a crystaline matrix, it
is possible to shatter the
crystal under high enough
heat without affecting
the blackrock. The
blackrock goes projecting
through the air in a
most wonderful way. I
wonder what would happen
if we throw some into a
volcano!
June the Seventeenth
We managed to place
enough of our blackrock
crystal into the volcano.
The experiment was a
success! We have
irritated monsters on all
the islands! It should only
last about a month, but I
want to try an even
bigger amount!
