He was first met at the Rock Dungeon in Ilshenar, wherein he offered assistance finding the true Bell of Courage in exchange for assistance finding various rare reagents. Later, he asked for and received help from the Britannian government, specifically the Royal Guard in helping his village (the gypsy "town" south of the Ancient Citadel in Ilshenar) fight off ratmen of unusual size and power.
