Title: Shadowlord Assult on Minoc

Author: Neflite the Mad

On the day of November 19th, the year of 1997 a message was sent throughout the land by a person named Crelis the Necromancer. The message was as follows.

I must give you a warning

A shadow of evil has descended upon our land

Even now

The dread shadowlords descend upon Minoc...

The brave of heart must take up their arms

and defend the noble city of Minoc...

If not all is surely lost..

Shortly after the message was announced seven beings calling themselved "Shadowlords" descended upon Minoc being led by another being named "Death". The exact nature of these beings are unknown. I believe the "Shadowlords" were and advanced state of the spectre or wraith. Each shadowlord went by a specific "sin" it was called by. Among them were the Shadowlord of Envy, Shadowlord of Pride, Shadowlord of Gluttony, Shadowlord of Wrath, and Shadowlord of Lust. The Shadowlords appeared to be cloaked in black, with discolored bodies appearing to be black. Each carried a magic sword names after them. After they killed and wounded countless people, they semmed to give up the fight and let themselves to be defeated. Rumor has it five were killed and two excaped leaving nothing but their magic weapons and the memorys of the survivors as proof of the battle. From my research many of the swords still exist. One has been lost according to rumors. I acquired one, a magic sword of lust, after spending a considerable sum and bargaining. Another is held by a survivor of the battle [a magic sword of lust]. It is unknown id any others exist as this moment. To my knowledge the Shadowlords or Death has not been seen or heard from ever again. With Death was several lichs and one of the first "Black Daemons". Crelis the Necromancer disappeared shortly after and had not been heard from again either. The sisters tell me that the beings were not killed but simply left the battle for some reason. We believe they will retuen someday to finish what they started and maybe reclaim their swords. Seven meteors passes by my two sisters that night and perhaps will return someday. Perhaps this book will survive to remind others of the day. Or perhaps this book will be forgotten just as the story I just told and the name "Crelis the Necromancer" is at this very moment. It doesnt matter to me I only write this to perserve this story as part of the history of Britannia and nothing more.
