Title: Ancient Scrolls

Author: One With the Land

Once long ago Tokuno was a solid land, and all the creatures and people within it lived hapily, and in peace. Till one day an evil emperor came to the land and began to rule it under his fist. The emperor has slaves that were practitioners of the evil ways, and he made them bend the Spirit of the land to his will.

Trying to tap the essence within and gain ever lasting power from it. The land grew very angry and created army of creatures to fight against the emperor, and the Spirit within the land took all its power and split the land of Tokuno into three islands...

Homare Jima, Isamu Jima, and Mokoto Jima. And the spirit within the land made three scrolls before it went into the ground. These scrolls bore the secrets of how to awaken the phasma rikujou, through the passage of the animaru, a secret ninjitsu technique that bonds ones soul to that of a native creature of the land, and were cast into the lands of Tokuno. As the legend had it only those who practice ninjitsu can partake in the ceremony of the scrolls, but if the scrolls were taken into evil hands they can be forced to open by a necromancer that summons one of a dead practitioner of ninjitsu. Like the evil emperor one could then awaken the spirit and take ultimate power from it, in turn having the power to controll any animaru that are bonded with the land.

But many say this legend is folktale and none of the scrolls have been found in Tokuno even after extensive archeologist searches none have been discovered.

Some people have stated seeing such scrolls, but the claims are far and few between.

On another note should one that is evil in heart and nature obtain the scrolls the land of Tokuno will be thrust into dark times, hordes of animaru spirits being twisted to serve one who is evil in nature. The very thing that defines one who is one with the land would be gone.

One can only hope the scrolls remain unfound and if they are that they be found with those whose intentions are pure and are pure of heart.
