It was but only a few days ago that a pale man in dark robes came here expressing interest in using our Latreen. He arrived on a large sinister-looking ship from the north.
He seemed sincere but something about him struck me as very odd. He never once pulled down his hood or take off his dark green cloak, despite the fact that we were in the middle of a heatwave here. It seems the dark man seeks old tomes on Vesperian history and ancient grimoires of long forgotten magical rites. He asked about opening gates, but not like those you find around Britannia or open through magical means, he wanted to know if there was any knowledge on opening gates that could cross the ethereal, that could open into realms yet not I was sure no such gates existed, but he was vehement on getting the knowledge he wanted.
