You receive a copy of a note:

Guard meeting, 8 p.m. Thursday. Brit. Counselor Hall. Arrive armed and ready to travel. Looks like Hercules has been on the move. -–Keel

You glance at the folded front page of the newspaper you just brought in. The headline, “Sea monsters attack…” catches your eye, but when you unfold the paper to read that article you are instead drawn to the puzzling headline “Makoto Residents Grow Weary of Drunken Boar”.
