Gathering to Commemorate Kazola’s Tavern,

Monday, July 19th, 7 pm CDT

Posted by EM Elisabella on 07/19/10

As some of you may know, Kazola’s Treetop Keg and Winery has fallen. This is a very sad day for Great Lakes. Many have fond memories of this cozy tavern and its cheerful hostess. Its fame reached other shards and even inspired artists of our own world.

Malachi and I will be holding a small gathering tonight, Monday, July 19th, at 7 p.m. CDT, at the Counselor Hall, to discuss how best to maintain what remains of the historic site and for everyone to share memories.

Kazola’s was in Felucca, southeast of the Yew moongate, at 72° 52′N, 31° 38′W.

Sorry I missed out on the meeting — hopefully the comments for memorial brought some great suggestions to light. While perhaps it will never be the place it once was, it would be a shame to lose such a great memory to the sands of time. Too many thus far have been lost in that fashion.

A sad day indeed!

I have many great memories of Kazola’s from the very early days….

I am shocked that this has occured. What I don’t understand is WHY there hasn’t been a recreation of the site. As EM’s I a certain you have the ability to rebuild the site.

Greetings. I think I was the first to see kazola’s had fallen . I am the commanding lord of the shadowlord faction, and early one morning I passed by and noticed that the building itself had vanished. I was able to pick up only a few stools / a painting, a model ship and a spittoon. I Placed a house over part of where Kazola’s used to be recently. I noticed it was possible to do so, and I feared someone would place to block attempts to rebuild. I am easy to get ahold of by email pvpwarehouse@hotmail.com or icq# 108817923. I did manage to attend part of the gathering to commemorate and I hope there will be a reconstruction effort soon. I will be happy to drop the house at any time. thank you – Michel
