Title: Training 7: Military Spy
Author: Magnus Grey
For this training, you will
be given certain
information gathered by
other spies, and you will
need to plan an
appropriate tactical
solution. You will work in
teams of three people to
write a brief plan and
then implement it. Since
groups can t do the
training at the same
time, there will be a
queue. Groups will be
graded based on the
speed they carry out the
training and the
completeness. A good plan
is flexible. Good luck.

Intel:
-The brigand fortress on the road between Britain and Yew has been more active as of late. At least a dozen trade caravans have been attacked bringing shipments between Yew and Britain.
-The brigands have a new leader, an orc named Skulklub. He is considered very strong and very dangerous. He has brought many orcs with him into the brigand group.
-A juka named Tabur is second in command of the group. He has a vanity not usually seen by his species and decorates himself with fine clothing and jewelry. It is believed he is some sort of mage.
-A former traitor of the Crown who was in league with Blackthorne has been seen in the area. His crimes include spring and well poisoning. It is possible he is planning something similar in the area. His name is Morbus.
-The brigands have hired magical support to give them an edge.
-The brigands have added additional obstacles to those trying to enter the fort. Some of these are just piles of plunder.
Others are a deliberate attempt to make the fort difficult to attack. Many of these obstacles can be smashed! Not all can be smashed though.
-Due to orcs living in the fortress now, those taken captive by the brigands are no longer used as slaves. It is believed they are eaten!
-Some blackmarket sources are working with the brigands regularly. It is unknown who or how this is being done. These criminal trade routes need to be understood.
-During a raid by these brigands, Lady Emilia lost a treasured family item, a star sapphire necklace. The item is far more valuable than the brigands know. Should they learn of its value, they could sell it and double the size of their operation.
-During an attack, a diplomat sent by the Crown to talk to the Solen was killed, and his items stolen. It is believed he completed a trade treaty with the Solen, but without his notes or a copy of the treaty, it is impossible to know. The brigands may try to make their own deal with the Solen using this stolen information.
