Title: Statues of Deceit

Author: Ra'Dian Fl'Gith

There were seven statues throughout the dungeon of deceit, with three additional providing direction, leading us into the depths of Deceit in search of a secret room and a Moongate Control Crystal. The three directional clues were:

1: Go down deep into the dungeon to find the room, four cellars deep.

2: The room is near where fire and lava flows.

3: Go to the room with faces on teh wall in the number of the Shadowlords.

Within a secret passage at the south end of the lava room on the fourth level of Deceit we did find three faces upon the wall.

The seven clues were as follows:

1: Place where lies are nurtured before the body tells them. (MIND)

2: Where lies start, truth has a what? A finale... (END)

3: It is the shortest lie of all, the opposite of yes? (NO)

4: If the truth is a short story, lies are what sort of tales? (TALL)

5: What is a magic of deception that makes you unseen? (INVISIBILITY)

6: What is the opposite of Chaos and an enemy of Deceit? (ORDER)

7: What cousin of the mouse is everything deceit admires? (RAT)

Thus, taking the first letter of each word, the password is therefore MENTIOR.

Upon saying such, I was whisked away to a chamber in which there was the aforementioned device, guarded by a small handful of powerful guardians.

They were defeated, and the crystal was destroyed, though I'm unclear who or whom did so, as it wasn't until after the crystal disappeared that I noticed the book of notes lying on the floor, with instructions left by Walter Drake on how to destroy it. The words Vas An Por with a small amount of blackrock placed at its base.

Sadly, it appears poor Walter Drake met his demise in the chamber, but if there was anyone yet with question as to Casca's allegiances, the book of notes left by Drake and the damning device should clear those final questions.
