I know you have a copy of this spellbook that was stolen by the Brothers of Valor in your protected vault. Because of developments in Yew and a visit from the strange bird again last eve, I took to translating the spellbook as best I could.
Some parts are literal translations which I can only guess the meaning of, such as "Consumer protected with wisps," which I take to mean that either the person who had come for the knowledge was protected by wisps, or the wisp that "consumed" the knowledge was protected by other wisps.
In either case, last eve the strange bird again mentioned the Principia Daemonis, as well as some affliction that plagued Yew back around the time of Relvinian -- whatever the affliction is, it is said to be caused by the same group responsible both then and now.
I have wracked my mind and studied many tomes, but cannot come to a conclusive answer. We suspect Relvinian responsible for the Hedge Maze, but that is closer Britain and Skara than Yew. We know also that daemons broke through Castle British, but they were dealt with.
There are mysterious deaths that occurred that very same night -- deaths not attributed to Relvinian because of his presence at the castle.
At any rate, both Galen and I are certain we have knowledge of something that we're overlooking. I translated the tome to learn what I could from it. It only, presently, brings more questions.
