Queen Dawn met her subjects at the Counselor’s Hall in northern Britain and asked that they perform an errand for her. The Queen wanted Princess Mirendel taken to Granny’s house in Yew so she could experience the harvest feast latter in the week.
A gate was opened to the guard outpost along the road to Yew near Compassion Grove where the large party set out on their task. Almost immediately the group was attacked by a cluster of very strange creatures. Fortunately, they were no match for the group and they fell quickly.
After continuing up the road a ways more, they chose to take a shortcut to Yew through the forest. They found Lady Artemis watching Granny choosing a large purple pumpkin in the field of the city’s southwestern most farmhouse.

Granny explained that after the death of Nylwyn the previous spring she has thrown herself into her cooking and even began to write down her recipes. She had sold many of her cookbooks and knew that many adventurers had been out looking for some of her more exotic ingredients. “Where adventurers go, monsters follow.”
She then asked that the group help her gather what she needed to prepare the feast for Mirendel. Once people agreed, Granny left the baby dragon in the care of Lady Artemis then led the group towards the mountains to find Mystic Llama milk.
The Mystic Llamas watched from a craggy bluff as Granny led the group directly into another group of the odd monsters. Fortunately, they were quick to fall again and Granny collected enough milk for her recipe.
Granny then had a gate cast to near the Shrine of Justice so the Justice Ginger could be found. When they arrived, the group was assaulted by a group of wandering healers who fiendishly demanded gravy. After they were put out of their misery, Granny continued on to gather the ginger.
The old woman then led the group around the lake to find a stand of bloodwood cinnamon trees. She neglected to mention that these trees were the roosts of harpies, and the fact that the trees themselves were quite murderous! It took the entire group quite a while to fell one tree so it’s bark could be safely harvested. Fortunately, the last ingredient – square eggs – were found nearby.
Granny then returned to Lady Artemis and Princess Mirendel and retired back to her house to begin cooking.
