Bio:
The Oni King was the King of the Jokugu-Oni, a race of Oni demons which have long had a special relationship with the government of Tokuno. As cear as can be discerned, and as related by Tess Midnight, the Tokunoese government in essence offers its own wicked to the Jokugu-Oni for torment, in exchange for peace with the Jokugu-Oni.
The Oni King and his vile tribe of demons came to the attention of the Britanning government when the Bane Chosen sought to bring the Jokugu-Oni into the ranks of the demon lord Virtuebane. They sent one of their own, Helga, to negotiate with the Oni King on Virtuebane's behalf. Negotiating for Britannia were the Royal Spies. They had an artifact which was of great interest to the Oni King, whereas all Helga had were vague promises and accusations which she was unable to back up. The Spies "won" the negotiation and were thus able to, at least, drive a wedge between the Jokugu-Oni and Virtuebane.
