Bio:
Little is known of this undead monstrosity, whose story is so odd, so strange, and so cruel, other than what he wrote down for us immediately following his long imprisonment. As it is the only halfway-reliable source we have, it is from his own writing that this article is derived.

Secutor tells us that he was "born mortal and human." He became a pirate, for reasons he does not disclose, but the usual reasons, the unique combination of perceived economic necessity and cruelty, can be inferred. He became the Captain of his own ship, but his crew overthrew him for reasons which are not disclosed. It can perhaps be reasonably inferred, however, that he likely was no less cruel as a mortal pirate Captain than he would come to be as an Undead one.

He was cast adrift, but for reasons unknown (he appeared to attribute it to magics cast upon him by his mutinous crew), he did not die, but instead live as weather and sharks and starvation tore his body apart. In pain and suffering he vowed revenge. Eventually he found, or stumbled across, land. He managed to, though fully Undead by this point, somehow find a ship and crew. Task one, of course, was revenge. "The mutineers," he wrote, "tasted death at my hand, but my rage did not end there." He continued piracy, ruled his crew by fear and bloodshed, as he ruled the seas he traveled. "The waters I frequented," he wrote, "were called the Blood Coast."

He had not learned his lesson, and his new crew eventually also had a mutiny against him. They shackled him with irons and entombed him in a tunnel used to stock stolen goods. He eventually appears to have grown even more cruel, and even more insane, from his imprisonment.

A better, a pauper, he wrote eventually came and freed him, promising him revenge upon the descendants of those who had imprisoned him. The pauper, it is now known, was our then King Pro Tempere, Casca.

So far as I know, Secutor's cruelty was at long last brought to a final end by Magnus Gray's Royal Spies.
