Violet was several Guardsmen, Ministers, and other officials who turned up missing after Buldur and the Demon Conclave attacked the City of Britain. Violet was tracked to a demonic prison in the Lost Lands, where she was rescued. She had undergone tortures by the demons, and among other things ended up with a broken leg, necessitating her being assisted from the Lost Lands back to Britain. Once back in Britain, she revealed important information: Specifically, based on the questions she was asked during her tortures, it appeared that the Conclave had not acquired the critical Crystal of Duplicity in their attack.
As is the case with the Royal Spy Jenessa, we might wonder if Violet had dealt with her ordeal as well as she might seem to have. Demon tortures leave their scars, on bodies, on minds, on souls.
