Bio:
Raul Thrivin is one of the rarest of beings encountered by the Royal Spies: Notably chiefly because he was dead. The Britannian Royal Spy Sarah Paumera was accused, falsely, of his murder, and sentenced to death. The other Spies were able to prove her innocence of the crime. The playwright's death proved to in fact be connected to demonic activity in Nujel'M, demonic activity which he had noticed and wished to fight against, but the island's prejudice against magic made it impossible. He hid notes about his observations in his final play, which will now of course never be finished.

It is said among the desert residents of Ilshenar that the desert kills only fools, but it's easy to be a fool in the desert. Nujel'M, it seems, has many fools, who would rather be consumed by demons than listen to the word of a playwright, or representatives of the Britannian government. Yet, their island desert has not yet killed them.
