Insaengktlem is a high-level guard, the term seems to be "protector" of Ver-Lor-Reg, the gargoyle city in Central Ilshenar. He is known outside of his jurisdiction chiefly for helping representatives of the Britannian government ferret out members of tne An-Kal-Lem (evil gargoyles who had betrayed the gargoyle way) in his city. He has also been known to coordinate efforts with representatives of Britannia, especially Peter, a Britannian Guard stationed in the city.
