Bio:
Grizelda the Hag is a seemingly harmless old witch who lives in a hut between Skara Brae and Britain, not too far from the road that goes north of the Yew/Skara/Brit crossroads.
She played a role in the Inu the Crone affair (which we now know was the first indication of the early attempts of the Shadowlords to enter our realm). Specifically, the help of her and Inu was sought by the Royal Guard in order to assist a mage named Finarfin. Among other items, the toes of ancient cranes were needed; and Grizelda's method was favored by the Royal Guard for harming the cranes less. This was the cause of some animosity between Inu and Grizelda.
Grizelda on occasion needs help from adventurers and will offer help in return. Sometimes the Royal Spies have visited her, as her research and experiments sometimes prove of use.
Perhaps the most-notable, and definitely the most-recent, of these instances was when Dupre and the Royal Guard had her make a potion that would incapicate most, but not all, of the guards and defenders of Margreta of Trinsic, thereby making the efforts to get Margreta somewhat less bloody than they would have been otherwise.
