Bio:

The Brothers of Valor were a Human Supremacist group that emerged during the early days of Dawn's reign, following the death of Casca and the collapse of his vile, brutal regime.

The Brothers of Valor blamed the recent trials of the realm, and indeed a long series of trials going back quite far, on the presence of non-humans in the realm, and the "taint" of pure human blood by non-humans. Gargoyles, who were recently made contact with at the time they appeared, were a special target for their loathing, as were Elves.

They were led by "Brother" Pemenard, an evil, spiteful, cowardly man who authored a piece of racist propaganda entitled "The Conspiracies Against Humanity." "Conspiracies," as it was popularly known, was widely distributed throughout the realm in distinctive red binding. The Brothers also often carried distinctive red viking swords for weapons and as "calling cards" to mark their presence. Pemendard was eventually revealed to be the brother of Morton, one of Casca's most vile, sick "Enforcers."

The Brothers, despite their love of human purity, engaged in dubious dealings with many non-human, and non-humane, entities. These included Charbon the Pyromancer and a rather stupid, short-sighted wisp.

The former individual assisted the Brothers in an attempt to assault the Gargoyle using a combination of his own fire magic and the Void Plague that infests Ter Mur. The latter assisted the Brothers in attempting to find a way to modify the Armageddon spell to kill only non-humans, and leave humans more-or-less intact. The plan was to unleash this modified Armageddon in Ter Mur, thus reducing the gargoyles from "thriving but endangered" to "almost extinct" in one foul swoop.

Fortunately, the Brothers failed, brought down by Magnus Gray's Royal Spies.

I am sad to say that the Brothers, during their brief "career," attracted more to their cause than one would like to think.

Former members of the Brothers of Valor attached themselves to the Bane Chosen, which were a highly similar group before it was revealed that they were in league with the demon lord Virtuebane.
