We have been tracking
this group of An-Kal-Lem
for many weeks. They are
void-touched. They
received a transfusion of
the defiler-infused brood
gargoyle known as the
Void Queen. She has been
named by our seers as
the coming of the second
false prophet. The first
false prophet created the
original An-Kal-Lem, so
Queen Zhah is worried
what this one may do.
They have spent the last few weeks exploring the ruins of the old hatcheries. They are looking for something. An artifact perhaps? It is rumored that the life magic used to birth gargoyles was the original weapon used on the Defiler.
A Void gargoyle attacked us today. Our weapons were not as useful as we expected, until one of us tossed the creature into a void pool. The Void seems to reject this fusion of gargoyle and Void demon, just as we reject these new An-Kal-Lem.
We were betrayed. They
attacked during the night
watch. I must hide this
book.
