My hatching brother Wislorlem, I hope this letter finds you well. I believe I made the right decision joining our great navy. The waters of Sosaria are wide and deep, and I believe I have found my place. The winds have been fair and good on this voyage. While our crew is very young, Minister Uskadesh says we sail for Queen Zhah herself. He is happy with our progress, complimenting our Control and Diligence aboard ship. He says we serve our Queen well.

We saw some strange serpents the other day, but our captain wasn't sure about them, so we gave them wide berth. We managed to meet up with this Captain Avery and give him the sad news. I understand his loss, even if the human queen is only leader, and not mother.

Uskadesh asked us to sail south. He has been rather strange since the meeting with the human ship. Poor gargoyle must be seasick. I will give him some of the broth I got in the human city that seems to help with that...
