GLRP E&H Partisans of Chaos: The Salty Dog
Title: The Salty Dog
Author: Sheena
I am sick and tired of my no good husband, mother was so right about him, but I stay here since it is my mistake.
He bought this tavern months ago, for what he told me was an unbelievable low price. Well, I can see that it was so cheap as it's never going to get any business this far east in Britain.
The fool today wanted to form a dart league or something. I can't fathom what goes through his head, I sewar if I have some rolling pins I would knock some sense into him. However, maybe I would actually knock what little sense he as left out, if that's even possible. If anyone ask me, I think all the hair in his ears is the only thing keeping his brains from slipping out as he sleeps. I thought that the dart league idea was bad, but he has really outdone himself this time - now he wants an Intellectuals League! he wants all the "Intellectuals" to come in here and get to drinking and eating then play board games! He already has blown enough gold on this Tavern, and the promotions from last week, and now board games. At this rate he won't have much inheritance to make this marriage worth anything!
I have kicked him out for several days, that insensitive husband! if he wants back in his own Tavern, he'll have to earn it.
Oh, I never knew how pretty poppies were! he aint such a bad man after all.
I have told that man many times to put locks on the doors down here, but does he ever listen? No! Just this evening I lay in here reading, when I swore I heard two sets of footsteps coming down the stairs. I heard some muffled voices through the door, something about the Royal Guard and their incompetence. Both voiced were too deep to be my husband, but one of them was strikingly familiar. It wasn't a heated discussion though, more of one with anticipation and happiness. They both left as fast as they came in, and I rushed up to once again demand locks on our doors. he has ignored me yet again, and I have ordered some rolling pins.
