Early this evening, Prafectus Oona of RKR, Commander Polynikes of YM, and Mor Constabal Julius Magnus of HLI rallied the brave men and women of the Britannian Armed Forces assembled at the Yew moongate and prepared to storm Castle British. They rode swiftly through the city with no resistance, though found the few scattered citizens they came across afraid for their lives.

They marched on the Castle gates, and discovered the decaying head of Acting-Justicar Illidan lying on the drawbridge. A pitched battle lasting several hours raged in the courtyard and into the city streets - ranging as far as the North Side Inn, and the Sweet Dreams Inn.
Spells, arrows, and steel rang though the late evening as Nosfentor's forces fought to keep their ill-gotten city. Unfortunately for them, the B.A.F. greatly outnumbered them - two to one.

The Crimson Order was swiftly routed during the first engagement, leaving the B.A.F. to secure the Castle and its grounds. The following attempt by Nosfentor to retake the capitol took a little longer to rebuff, but in the end the B.A.F. was successful.
As ranks formed in front of the outer guardhouse, the three Field Marshals declared victory in their fight to liberate Britain. The Castle was locked tight against further intrusions, and the soldiers of the B.A.F. went to celebrate at their favorite tavern. Citizens of Britain are already cautiously making their way back to their homes and businesses, yet still leery of further oppression at the hands of the Crimson Order.
The High Council was elated at the outcome of the battle, and had high hopes of a similar victory in Cove. When asked about Nosfentor's recent threat regarding the abducted children should Britain be attacked, I was assured by Lord DaKaren that "The Council and the B.A.F. are taking the matter very seriously. The welfare of the kingdom's children is a top priority. May the Virtues keep them safe..." Unfortunately, the Chancellor was unavailable for comment due to late-night Cabinet sessions.
The capitol may be back in the hands of the people, but what of the hands that control the lives of their children? What suffering might they endure for the retaking of Britain? Only time will tell. Time that may very well be running out...
