Geore ran off with Sue
and Erik again today, so I
figured I'd pass my time
writing in a journal. The
only problem is I don't
really have too much to
talk about in a journal.
Better than just cooking
all day I supposed... I do
enough of that at work.
Sometimes, I wish I knew
a bit more of the
arcane. The spells of that
Surgrim fellow, or
whatever his name is,
sound interesting. Of
course, then I wouldn't
have much time for
cooking. Even though I
need to do it way too
much, I still very
much enjoy being a chef.
Sounds like Sue won't be
joining them today. I
guess her boyfriend says
he learned some magical
spell or some other
nonsense and wanted her
to learn it. I'd bet that
Sue knows he doesn't
actually know any magic,
but just wanted to spend
the day with him.
Sue stopped by to tell
me what Joe really did
the other day. Hid some
love notes inbetween some
nonsense written like it
was some secret
spellbook. Sounds very
cute. Reminds me of
some of the things
George did for me when
we were just dating.
Been a few days since I
last wrote in this book,
but oh what wonderful
days they have been.
George took a little time
off from his research
and excavations to go on
a vacation with me. The
lakes are oh so lovely
this time of year.
George, Erik, and Sue
seem to have come
across a very big find.
Polymorphing spells of
some sort, I believe. Sue
has some of the spells
here, and is researching
them. George and Erik
left to find more. They
sound like they'd be great
fun - some creatures not
available through the
typical polymorph spell,
and more of a real
polymorph than just
appearances. I am a little
worried about them
though... they seem quite
a bit more powerful than
most spells they come
across. I hope they'll be
careful.
Poor, poor Erik... I was a little worried about those spells, but I never thought it might kill! George has promised me he's going to put them away and never use them. George hasn't been out as much since Erik died, so I haven't really been writing in here. I might just put it away and forget about it. Guess I'll just wait until next time and decide then if I want to pull it out again or not.
