My studies have come
to an abrupt end when
Charon stole the stone
He gave me. What is
worse, the wretch
smashed the stone,
thus damaging me in
the process.
Through a stroke of
good fortune, Boromir
has come almost
willingly to my side.
It only took mild
controls to have him
turn to me. I shall use
him till my power
returns.
The tomes did not survive the fire, but HE assures me that I will find what I need on this wretched plane.
Boromir has a thirst for knowledge and power that is most unusual in one that so readily stands on the side of good. I find this very attractive.
Thus I am certain I will have to kill him, probably sooner rather than later. I hope to make use of him in the creation of a new stone, as I have no one else to sacrifice. I need only to get him to pledge his love and life to me and then seal the oaths by the new moon.
I wish there was another way, but I see none and I will not be thwarted. HE will kill me if I fail in this. HE gave me powers and I am to use them... but my thoughts stray... ever since I tasted Boromir's lips... I am a fool. He must die.
This fragment mentions a marriage of souls. Does this mean a mundane wedding needs to occur or that I should just have him bound to me before he gives of his blood to make the stone?
