In you I see the dawning of such a day

that shakes off the curled claws of the night

Unscathed by darkness and bathed

in the purity of light.

Did you know when you stand just so,

you look like an angel?

O twas your feet in the deep forest night

or the touch your cheek and kiss your lips

I dare not hope to hold you

But grant me one look before you fade away.

Touch me Spirit of Light

You hold me close as ever.

Do you know that I want to drape you in velvet?

Dare you deny your pride and linger with me a few moments more?

Or must your run amidst the dark fairie night

Before Apollo's orb peeks over the montain?

Forever quakes behind you light footsteps.

Hurry now before you hear my heart rent in twain.

Light foodfalls before dawn...

Veils afly in Clandestine Lament.
