Bio:

Murflam is an example of how, sometimes, to fight evil it is necessary to take advantage of rifts in the forces of the enemy rather than try and fight every foe and potential foe at once.

Murflam was a demon affiliated with the Demon Conclave.  His rank, role, and exact affiliation within the Conclave is not known.  His distinction is that he was willing to betray the Conclave in order to help the government of Britannia fight the demon lord Virtuebane, whom Murflam perceived as having himself betrayed the Conclave by refusing to share with the Conclave a sacred gem.  He had attempted to run a minor rebellion against Virtuebane, in addition to being an informant to the Royal Spies of Britannia.  While the rebellion failed and Murflam and all of his rebellious colleagues were slain, Murflam was able to pass vital information before he died. 

Doubtlessly Murflam would have, had he lived, proven to be a threat in his own right.
