Dear Callie,

I wish to send you a strongly-worded letter, but out of respect for our shared profession, I will refrain from vulgarity. I have looked over the research performed by your parents and yourself, and while I agree that there is promise, I believe you are rushing forward blindly. Loyalty to your dead parents is noble, but ignoring the most basic of warnings is foolish. I do hope in a few years you become less reckless.

The Nexus devices and core devices that make up Exodus are incredibly complicated. We barely understand the workings of power crystals and golem clockwork, so to dabble with something that was built by two of the most talented and evil minds in Sosarian history is foolhardy. My own research has also shown that the �Exodus� intelligence has made improvements and modifications to its Nexus architecture. I believe a reasonable person would focus on the individual components of a Nexus device rather than trying to repair a while machine.

Since you didn�t listen to me the last time, I believe this is our last correspondence.
