I work at the Mint of
Vesper. Things have been
very tense lately since
the Queen�s death,
almost as if no one
trusts the banks and
businesses of Britannia.
We had several people get in a fight in line and have to be escorted out by the guard.

My numbers have not
been adding up lately.
Mr. Bailey has been most
cross with me, but he
told me he would check
the figures himself. I am
usually so careful.
~
Mr. Bailey has been so
nervous lately. When I
asked him what was
wrong, he started scream
at me to keep a better
eye on my work. I wish I
could quit, but Curtis and
I would like to buy a
home when we are
married.

Mr. Bailey had some
strange meetings all day,
so I had to keep things
going in the front of the
bank. It was a mess.
Some of the deposits
made earlier in the day
seemed questionable, some
sort of bond transfers
from Minoc.

I overheard Mr. Bailey
talking to some stranger
about Apex and moving
money around for them.
This seems fit with some
of the strange deposits
I�ve been asked to sign
off on.

Why does the bank need
to build a warship? When
I approached Mr. Bailey
about it, he told me to
take the rest of the day
off. I may need to talk
to the guard about this.
I will sleep on it.
