Don't think any on my
list did it. Pauper Joe
gave me a hard time
since I usually let him in
to get them leftovers
from the kitchen, but he
went away pretty quick
when I took out ole
hickory. The trade's folk
seemed normal enough.
Sarah offered to mend a
few pairs of my socks
for a farthing; she works
hard for her old man.
Lord Downey was a bit
grumpy since the Minister
o' Money was off
drinking. There was a
strange dark shape near
the north wall that the
guard on patrol saw.
Maybe that's how the
thief got in.
