Title: Diary

Author: Roberta

Dear Diary,
I have met the most wonderful man. I do nothing but dream of him at night and think of him at day.
He arrived with a group of folk to help work on the town. I only hope he will consider a lowly shepherdess to be a worthy companion.

Dear Diary,
Beyond my wildest dreams, Locke has seen fit to ask me to marry him. I know I haven't written in a while, but all my time has been spent tending the flocks or lost in his eyes. His uncle seems pleased and the wedding will be set soon.

Deary Diary,
An old gypsy came to the wedding today. She asked if there was one thing I would wish for for my life with Locke, what would it be? I said that I wished to ever be with him, now and forever. Her eyes flashed and a shower of sparkles surrounded Locke and me. It didn't seem to do anything, but it's always good to keep a gypsy happy. She claims no knowledge of the attacks on our town.

Dear Diary,
It's been a few months and the attacks on the town have grown to the point where we have abandoned the new town to flee to Britain.

Dear Diary,
We leave Britain today.

Locke and I are

determined to make a life outside of Skara Brae. Locke's uncle has moved north into the woods of Yew. We will miss him, but he is tired of all the fighting.

Dear Diary,
I can scarce write these words. My beloved Locke is dead, struck down by the bolt of a brigand. I no longer have a desire to live without him by my side. Most of the other inhabitants of the town have given up and are moving off to other areas. I spend my time sitting here at his grave with the others that have died waiting for death to come to me and rejoin us once again.

Dear Diary,
A healer came.. they took me ... somewhere... farm house... I want to die.. Locke.. I see you at night... soon, my love.
