It has been an incredible first year as your EM, and I hope you all had as much fun as I had.

A whole lot has happened this year. We had the end of the Warriors of Destiny story arc that started with Inu the Crone in 2006. It was a privilege to be your EM for the final chapter of this story. The Royal Spies were very active this year, meeting almost fifty times during nine unique training events and around thirty-eight missions. The Royal Spies should congratulate themselves on stopping tyrant traitors, human supremacists, and doomsday cultists. The Royal Guard also fulfilled their duty with valor and honor, investigating many threats to Britannian security and winning the War of Shadows.

I would like to thank EM Iatu, who served Great Lakes for the first year of the new EM program and worked with me on so many events. I also want to thank EM Elizabella who managed to jump right in as the newest EM for Great Lakes.

Also, I raise a toast to all of you who play on the Great Lakes shard and have taken part in this year’s events. Thank you for your skill and diligence during Royal Guard and Spy events. Thank you for your style and eloquence, best seen during Dawn’s coronation. Thank you for the laughs during silly events like the Pie Fight. Thank you especially for your constructive criticism when events didn’t go as planned.

May the next year be as incredible as this past one!

I am very glad the EM program will, apparently, be continuing.

The EMs were one of the reasons I came to GL, I had heard many good things about you in particular, and it is a move I have not regretted since.
