... for Damocus ranks high in the hierarchy of daemons. Also referred to as the 'soul ripper', Damocus is best known for his lust for souls, perversely enjoying the tearing and shredding of them. Only someone possessing a very high will would stand a chance against him. It is highly recommended that beginning daemonologists avoid summoning attempts. It is rumored that there are only two ways to control Damocus. One is by finding someone willing to give up their soul so as to bind the daemon, for self sacrifice is unfathomable to the daemon. The second method is to trap the daemon within a sorcerer's stone. While this seems the preferred method, the construction of a stone is difficult and tricky.
