Only someone possessing a very high will would stand a chance against him. It is highly recommended that beginning daemonologists avoid summoning attempts. It is rumored that there are only two ways to control Damocus. One is by finding someone willing to give up their soul so as to bind the daemon, for self sacrifice is unfathomable to the daemon.
