Title: Legends and Lies

If you are reading this,
you have survived my
traps. You clearly are
wise enough to know the
truth. Many years ago, a
gate opened into our
world. An injured man
struggled out of the
gate. He was near death,
but he clutched eight
blackrock prisms tightly.
When I tried to heal him,
he said his own life
wasn't important. The
prisms must be scattered
and hidden, so they can
never be used as part of
a great weapon.
I wasn't able to get details from him, but I did learn that the weapon was no mere sword or halberd or simple spell.
He believed it was the reason his world fell to a great evil. He made me swear to protect the prisms. I did my best in life.
I knew I would eventually die, so I created this place. It is a place where the greedy and the foolish who came upon the prisms could come and fall to their vices. My immortal servants would hide the prisms deep in this dungeon.
Now that you know the
truth, you must never
tell another soul. To keep
my promise, I must
perpetuate this lie. To
protect this world, you
must as well.
