I decided to stay here
with the small group left
to cover the retreat
from our home.
Yesterday, the last group
left over land, those too
weak to simply gate to
Ter Mur and many of our
wingless, carrying many
important items from our
civilization. It is
fortunate, since we lost
the city this morning.
Vis-lem was almost too
stubborn to call a
retreat, but we managed
to convince him that
keeping watch over this
invasion from the
watchtower will insure we
someday retake the city.
Someday seems impossible.
We must keep control
over the situation. We
have taken to flying over
the city and dropping
whatever explosive
mixtures we had on hand.
Vis-lem managed to
acquire a few larger
bombs. One managed to
block the exit from the
city. We don't know how
long that will buy us. We
may need to retreat even
from this tower.
