Bio:

Splat is an unsusual thing indeed: An intelileng, sentient walrus.  And if that weren't strange enough, it was an intelligent, sentient walrus Hell-bent on revenge.

It seems that, in centuries past, killing and harvesting various resources from walruses was an important part of Vesper's economy.  At some point, however, the people of Vesper realized that some of the walruses were intelligent, sentient, and could talk.  They immediately stopped killing walruses, just in case they harmed one of the intelligent ones by accident.  Though these sins were unintended, occurred long long ago, and were immediately ceased once they were known, it seems that some of the intelligent walruses are still bent on revenge.  To this end, Splat and his (I think his, anyway) companion,Bucky, took over the annual Walrus festival of Vesper, and lured participants to the Lost Lands, where they attempted to wreak their revenge.  Lucky, the crowd, which included members of the Royal Spies and Royal Guard and several other capable fighters, managed to beat back the walrus threat. 

So far as is known, however, Bucky and Splat were unfortunately not among the dead.
