Title: Adoratrice Neferutimr
Author: Theodosia of Umbra
In the time when what is
now desert was lush and
green, its widowed
Adoratrice, Neferutimr
(whose name translates as
beauty of the goddess
of fear), sent a secret
plea to the Lord of
Umbra, Lazar IV.
Pillar {Crown_triangle} Hexagon_cup_maze_feather _waves_sun, clasped-hands, star. Foot tree_flower_kirin. Gibberling clasped-hands hatchet_stickfigures. {Crown_skull} hills tree_flower_kirin. Beetle tree_flower_kirin clasped-hands {Crown_triangle}.
It translates as:
Mighty Pharaoh Akhenfelis (spirit of the Goddess of Joy) who was my husband is dead and I have no sons. It is repugnant for me to take one of my servants/subjects to husband. You, Lord of Umbra, have many sons. Give/send one of your sons to be my husband and he will be Pharaoh of Zealan.
Records show that Lazar
IV instead made one of
his sons Lord of Umbra
and sent himself to be
lord of the rich pyramid
lands. Neferutimr had him
slain on arrival. It is not
known if this was for
disobeying her request or
because he displeased her.
Neferutimr instead had a
paladin abducted to be
her husband. Her people
soon rose up and slew
the self-righteous new
pharaoh. She then married
a fellow sorcerer and the
land grew lusher and
more productive under
their rule.
