A researcher in the field of dragonology, his research brought him too close to the Crimson Dragons, who decided he would make an ideal pet and "go fur." Through intimidation, and threats, and torture (and that only covers what we know about), he was made to help the Crimsons in what turned out to be their plot to feed a baby Platinum Dragon, who was under the care of the Britannian government, to a baby Crimson.
