Title: Xenve An-Amo-Lem File
Author: James
Mission Objectives:
I. Protect Xenve An-Amo-Lem fortress from Virtuebane's siege.
II. Prevent Virtuebane from getting a cornerstone for a new demon temple from the fortress. What exactly he is looking for is unknown, but likely, it is found in the Dark Path Observatory.
III. Destroy the demons' ability to attack An-Amo-Lem if possible.
IV. Prevent the fortress from falling into demon hands.
History:
Xenve An-Amo-Lem roughly translates the Familiar Enemy or the Brother Enemy. The Fortress was founded by three gargoyles born of the same queen who fought and killed each other when one of them, Vasortlem, lost his sanity to dark magic. The entrance to the dungeon is located at 146o51'S 164o37'W Trammel.
Entering the Fortress:
To enter Xenve An-Amo-Lem, say "Un Or Us" while standing near a net that marks the location.
Rooms of Fortress:
Entrance Hall:
The
entryway is marked with
a talking gargoyle statue
that responds to "In Wis"
and teleporter in northern
part of the room leading
to rest of the fortress.
Many exit teleporters
lead back to this room.
Vasortlem's Sanctum:
This
room marks the room
where the mystic
Vasortlem did his work.
Fortunately, the spells
that prevent casting in
this room no longer
function. The room was
previously stripped bare
of artifacts, likely when
a paranoid Vasortlem hid
them. The northwest
corner of the room
contains a teleporter
onward. The southeast
corner teleporter leads
back to the Entrance
Hall.
Vasagralem Training Hall:
This room was used by
the warrior Vasagralem
to train. It is marked by
obstacles and fire traps
used for training. The
enchanted swords that
protected the room were
disabled previously by the
Royal Spies. There is a
teleporter by the statue
of a warrior's helm.
Vasbeninlem Studio:
This
room still contains many
of the statues carved by
Vasbeninlem. There is a
teleporter in the
northwest corner of the
room.
Library:
The library
contains many interesting
books and scrolls from
the three brothers. There
are two exits from the
room. Saying "Kal Xen
Por" will teleport you to
the Teleporter Nexus.
There is also a teleporter the Entrance Hall near the south wall. The door out of the room is blocked.
Teleporter Nexus:
The
magical teleporters in the
fortress are powered by
the magic from this
room. This room was
originally inactive,
resulting in parts of the
dungeon being inaccessible.
It is possible that damaging this artifact will cut off the rooms of the dungeon. The Northwest teleporter will return you to the Entrance Hall. The Northeast teleporter leads to the barracks.
The Brother's Barracks:
This was the living area
of the three brothers.
The teleporter in the
room leads back to the
Nexus. The western door
leads to the Game of
Infinity.
Game of Infinity:
This
room contains artifacts
made by Vasbeninlem that
give portents of the
future. The floor shows a
great infinity sign where
the forces of good and
evil do battle. There is a
door on the west wall to
the Fault of Lithos.
Fault of Lithos:
This
room contains the Fault
of Lithos, an extremely
deep fissure in the earth,
where the Titan Lithos
was imprisoned by his
sister. The room also
formerly contained the
Principia Daemonis. There
are stairs in the room
that lead up to the
Observatory.
Dark Path Observatory:
This large room
intersects with the
Ethereal Void, allowing
observation of and
passage to other worlds.
There is a moongate at
the end of this hall, but
currently, it only seems
to lead to the Entrance
Hall.
