Title: Notes

Notes on research done in reference to the "Tome of Immortal Wisdom".

This book is one of a trio of books that were stolen from the monks of Monastery Thurisaz ages ago. It was during the final days of Prospero's leadership there.

During Prospero's time, the monks at Thurisaz began to fight daemons and during the century after his death, the monastery fell to the daemons.

It is unknown to me how Prospero came in to possession of these books. I've still not been able to learn about that.

I do have the names of the three books, though. "Tome of Immortal Wisdom", "Immortal Almanac" and "Immortalis Ambrosia". The books were all written by a man named Regnis the Mazed. He was known to dally in necromancy and things of an evil nature. So much so that it drove him mad. He is said to have lived among the liches of Deceit for a time, acting as a slave to them in exchange for freedom to conduct his research.

The contents of the books are unknown, but it is rumored they contain secrets of the undead.

Also, while not completely related to the books inquestion, I have learned that the word "Cinis" is derived from an ancient tongue that is mostly forgotten, but can be translated as "inferno" or "blazing fire".
