Title: Apex Briefing XII
Author: M.
An unstable Britain is
vital to our plans. Should
Britain become stable and
organized, it will quickly
bring the towns and
cities that are hostile or
neutral to Apex together
against us. Britain is
currently unstable, and it
must remain that way.
To keep it that way, our plan is two part. The first is to remove key figures that might organize Britain. The loyal remnants of the Royal Guard led by Dupre are also a problem. Our assassins are working to strike at Dupre's people and also the agents of Grey to remove as many skilled soldiers and leaders as they can. Worst case, these strikes will still slow down the enemy mobilization.
The second part is to
mobilize the peasant
classes to be loyal to
Apex. It is amazing what
a few loaves of bread
can buy and who will
ignore their loyalties when
they are starving. Our
first attempts to control
Paws and strike at
Britain were too
ham-fisted. Vadim lacked
vision, believing that
blatant theft of
resources was worth
upsetting the people we
hoped to conscript as
pawns. We are going to
try something different.
Our raiders will steal
from the people of
Britain, moving some
portion toward Paws to
buy loyalty.
