Bio:
Gervain Mercke was a jeweler in Nujel'M. He owned the famous Jewel of the Isle shop, on the northern end of the city. Mr. Mercke has a most unusual claim to distinction aside from his ownership of this famous shop: He was murdered, and Britannian Royal Spy Sarah Paumera was accused, falsely, of his murder.
Upon investigation, the Royal Spies discovered that Mr. Mercke was in fact murdered by the Demon Conclave, or a human follower of theirs, because he had started to look into the city's problems with nightmares, which of course were the handiwork of the Demon General of Nightmares, Nether.
