Walrus Festival
Two garish walruses met a motley assortment of potential revelers on the Vesper Dock. Their names were Bucky and Splat and they had come to the dock to host a festival in honor of their fallen brethren from a bygone era. They explained that long ago the people of Vesper had hunted the noble walrus nearly to extinction and only stopped when they encountered a herd with the power of speech. The Walrus Festival was held yearly to celebrate Vesper’s end to the slaughter and the survival of the species.
