Title: A Study of Dragons

Dragons are one of the intelligent creatures out there. They possibly even parallel that of the wisp. There are three stages of growth of the dragon species.


First is the Drake which is a baby dragon. At this stage the Dragon or Drake is very playful and will try and play with anything they see moving. Many adventurers figure the drake is trying to assault them and kill the drake. They have the mentality of a cat seeing us mice. I doubt they want to kill us but they are too young to understand their actions.

The next stage in development is the full grown dragon itself. At this stage it is quite friendly. Many people have walked right next to them without the dragon attacking them. This is the best time to try and tame one. Taming them is not easy and should only be attempted by someone who has more then mastered animal taming.

The third and possibly final stage of the development is the Ancient Wyrm. At this stage it can cast magic. I figure that it takes centuries to achieve this stage for they are quite rare. Many of these are hunted by warriors seeking glory and treasture every year. Making them even rarer.
