They see through me
To the other side
Yet I am not whole
For I am blind
To the one I seek
And she swears
Her death upon me
And I lament
For hers be mine
And I work
To help her
To save her
To keep her
The sky's color changes
From midnight
Till noon
And I see her there
Radiance filling
All that I see
Changing me
For better or worse
And the darkness
Slides away
To reveal the past
And I try
To save her
To keep her
To hold her
I might try in vain
But there are those
That support me
And encourage me
And they lift me
Back to the height
That keeps me going
And I stumble
And they help me stand
So I shall continue
For one goal
And I wish
To keep her
